First cold spell hit.

We had our first cold front last night. Temps dropped down to the low 60’s and will be in the 50’s tonight. 20 kts winds from the North-NorthWest dropped the water level drastically in a few hours. Hopefully this will help push all the brown water and silt out of the bay. I’m busy mounting mast steps this week. Not easy, my arms get exhausted holding on and drilling the holes. The rock climbing harness also cuts off blood flow to my legs. So I have to take breaks more often than expected. Other project include replacing the secondary bilge pump. Although complete, I don’t think it works nearly as well as the primary. The secondary is an impeller driven system that sits in the sump of the bilge. The primary is a diaphragm style that sits above the water level and it works much better.
