Rub-a-Dub-Dub-in-the-Tub

We had baths last night and lots of brushing. As a result we both got to sleep with Daddy in the big bed. This morning was another story. Daddy pulled out the clippers and he gave us hair cuts. I was really good and only sat down twice on Daddy; Cinco was not as good. Daddy thanked me for being such a good boy for the hair cut. Maybe we will get to sleep in the big bed tonight as well!

Rain

Why do they call it paradise if it rains all the time? This is not paradise for puppies — it is more like a paradise for frogs. Go away rain!

Spare parts and tools

Daddy made me approve the purchase of lots of tools and spare parts plus things I didn't think we would ever need. After over a year sailing around I see that Daddy was right. He has been able to repair everything that breaks, though some times with epoxy and a quarter (the bilge pump). But all the same when we are in remote locations and something goes wrong, Daddy usually has the parts and tools to fix it (thanks to my approval to spend money on these things). So Daddy and I have a great set of tools for fixing things when they go bad. I don't help very much other than approving the money to buy this stuff.
Today was a good example of how Daddy can repair things, although it has delayed our departure from Grenada. Daddy had all the tools to repair the hatches and make them all seal up again! Punch, drill, drill bits, hammer, rivets, rivet tool, adhesive, etc.
Cinco is not very impressed, but I am! Go Daddy!

Nimrod's

Daddy is taking Cinco and I to Nimrod's tonight. I can't wait. Daddy goes there every Thursday for the open microphone sessions. Maybe they will let puppies sing tonight. We have been to Woburn a few times, but not very often cause there are dogs and sheep that Cinco barks at a lot. So Daddy usually doesn't take us there to walk, but tonight is special this is our last Thursday night in Grenada, so Daddy is going to take us to the open music and singing session…. I sure hope he lets us sing!!! I'm sure we are going to get lots of attention tonight. I hope nobody feeds us cause it will not be nice to have puky shits for the next three days when we plan on sailing on Saturday.
Nimrods was fun, we are going to sleep hard tonight after all the parting and music.

Veal Bone Heaven

We got a split veal bone from Santa for Christmas this year and tonight… yes Tonight, Daddy decided to dig in the freezer for a steak and he found VEAL!!! Yes, a VEAL CHOP. He cooked it up for dinner (just a little more than rare) and when he was done eating, he chopped the bone in half while Cinco and I stood in the Galley waiting for bits of heaven to fall down on us. I think we are going to fall asleep with partially chewed VEAL bones between our paws tonight. This is going to be a very good New Year (our second year sailing the oceans with Daddy).
Daddy also took down the Christmas lights today. Bye bye Chrissy-Lights, they take lots of battery power so we never leave them on all night.
