The Current Plan
The current plan is to untie the dock lines and sail away in 2016. I completed the A2B race as a shake down of the boat and equipment. The toilet seat failure was the worst. A bolt broke on the radar pole, but we had lots of spectra line to tie it up. I’ll depart Annapolis on Oct 31, 2016. At that point I’ll be heading south for the West Indies. I’m going to set my retirement date as September 30, 2016! Yeh, but that is really close now.
I’m in the West Indies now and the dogs and I have an agreement that the longest sail we will do while they are alive is one day. So until they are gone we will be in the Carib Islands or Trinidad/SA.
